About Roam Local Events

Roam Local Events was born from a simple but powerful recognition: our communities deserve a better way to discover, share, and manage local events.

Through his involvement with the Chamber of Commerce and conversations with local business owners, Jonathan Johnson identified a critical gap—businesses and community members were struggling to effectively share and discover local events. The need for a modern technological solution to streamline event data collection and sharing became clear. Meanwhile, Asher Rogers was already doing the hard work every weekend, manually collecting event information and sharing it through Facebook-driven communication with community members.

This gap between the need and the reality created a natural partnership. When Jonathan and Asher came together, they recognized an opportunity to transform the way people discover local events. What started as a manual process driven by passion has evolved into Roam Local Events—a platform designed to make event discovery seamless, efficient, and accessible to everyone in the community.
