Our Town is set in the small community of Grover’s Corners and unfolds in three acts titled “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.” A stage manager narrates the piece, and the production relies on minimal sets and props. The story follows the everyday lives of the Gibbs and Webb families as their children fall in love, marry, and ultimately—culminating in one of American theatre’s most famous scenes—die.
